It summer time and bikes are flying out the door here at Norco John Henry and in order to make sure that our customers get their bikes when they want them, we are looking for a talented enthusiastic bike builder to join our team. We take our bike assemblies very seriously as we want to ensure that our customers get their bike built to the highest possible standard and that the bike is built in such a way that it perform to the highest possible standards for as long possible. It is a seasonal position that will be 5 days a week up until September 31st with the potential to have this extended should the candidate impress.
A suitable candidate should have the following:
Previous bike shop experience where bike assembly was a component.
Flexible hours and the availability to work weekends.
The ability to troubleshoot and solve assembly problems when they arise.
A good knowledge of current bike standards and technologies.
The ability to adjust all types of hubs.
Previous experience in truing wheels.
Candidates with the following skills will be considered more favourably:
Previous experience in servicing fork lowers, changing lower oils etc.,
The ability to bleed, fit and adjust Sram and Shimano brakes
Experience in bleeding adjusting and setting up dropper seat posts.
